As I said in my last Soap Challenge Club entry post, I made two attempts at the pour/pull through technique. For this attempt, I used a larger screen from the same storage basket and cut it to fit my log mold. Our guest instructor, Joanne (Nature’s Potion Handmade Soaps), and host, Amy Warden, also used screens, so I wanted to try this size, too. I love the designs this technique produces. However, I definitely should have poured my soap a bit differently, as you’ll see that the end bars look just plain weird. Kind of reminded me of teeth or something. LOL If you’d like to see how I made it, I’ve posted it below along with the recipe and other information. :)

Thank you so much for reading my post!
P.S. In case you’re interested, I have an affiliate store where I’ve listed all of the soap making supplies and materials that I purchase on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2DZmGfJ
If you use those links to buy anything, it won’t cost you anything extra, but I will receive a very small percentage of the sale. Every little bit helps, though, so thank you very much if you do! :)
Holly, the video wouldn’t load, could you check to be sure there isn’t a problem.
Thanks Jerry

Thank you so much for letting me know, Jerry! I really appreciate it. My link somehow got corrupted when I published the blog post. It’s fixed now.
Thanks again!!!

I love this technique. I was able to replicate it after purchasing the same basket from Wall-Mart. Glad I got it when I did as the next week they no longer carried it. I have made two batches, one came out quite well, the other not so much. Learned that the soap needs to be a little more than light trace for the patterns to form. I poured middle and two sides.

Hi,
How did you cut it to get the design? I am using a one pound mold.
Thank you
