I had a request from a friend to make a soap that looked like green camouflage. I decided to make two soaps – one green and one pink. This is my first time making a soap like this, so I decided to make a video, too. :)

RECIPE
Olive Oil – 34%
Coconut Oil – 25%
Shea Butter – 15%
Avocado Oil – 7%
Cocoa Butter – 7%
Sunflower Oil – 6%
Castor Oil – 6%
Superfat – 6%
Water = 2 x sodium hydroxide (33% lye solution)
To calculate the sodium hydroxide for your specific recipe size, you can use a soap calculator like the one at Majestic Mountain Sage: http://goo.gl/7hH5Vw
Pink Soap Essential Oil Blend:
Lavender – 4 parts
Bergamot – 2 parts
Patchouli – 1 part
Green Camo Essential Oil Blend:
Rosemary – 3 parts
Peppermint – 1 part
White kaolin clay added to each essential oil blend at a usage rate of 2 teaspoons per 500g of oil in recipe.

In case you’re interested, I have an affiliate store where I’ve listed all of the soap making supplies and materials that I purchase on Amazon: http://amzn.to/2DZmGfJ
If you use those links to buy anything, it won’t cost you anything extra, but I will receive a very small percentage of the sale. Every little bit helps, though, so thank you very much if you do! :)
